This underwriting from Emerson helped propelled Whitman’s profession as an artist. Emerson additionally applied a significant impact over Henry David Thoreau, who was a youthful Harvard graduate and teacher when Emerson met him in Concord. Contribution in Social Causes Emerson was known for his grandiose thoughts, yet he was additionally known to engage in explicit social causes. Emerson took a stand in opposition to subjection for a considerable length of time, and even helped runaway slaves get to Canada by means of the Underground Railroad. Emerson likewise lauded John Brown, the over the top abolitionist who many saw as a brutal maniac. Despite the fact that Emerson had been genuinely unopinionated, the contention over servitude drove him to the new Republican Party, and in the appointment of 1860 he decided in favor of Abraham Lincoln. Basic OVERVIEW Unique STRUCTURE The cast iron curve railroad connect over the wharves by the Bridgewater Canal at Castlefield shapes some portion of the long block viaduct taking the Altrincham part of the Manchester South Junction Altrincham Railway (MSJAR) into Deansgate Station. The MSJAR was Manchesters first rural line. It ran from Manchester Piccadilly through Oxford Road and Deansgate (with a branch line to Altrincham). The extension traverses 31.9m. Like eight of its kin (the special case being the Water Street MSJAR connect), it has six solid metal ribs each made in five sorts and darted out. The ribs are propped with cruciform cast iron areas. The twin railroad tracks were continued solid metal deck plates (the Altrincham line is no longer in use). The Altrincham branch viaduct had a subsequent solid metal rib curve connect by Baker, over Egerton Street. It was reproduced in steel in 1976. The Northern Brick viaduct is totally raised on multiple miles of viaduct. The greater part of this viaduct contains 224 block curves, averaging 30feet in tallness and length, and 28feet in width. Establishments commonly expand 30-35feet underneath the ground level. Close Ordsall Lane the railroad crosses the Irwell with two any longer 65feet range block curves, bolstered by a column in the stream. A block curve with a range of 80feet was required to connect the trench branch. Enhancing the block curves, the cast-iron scaffolds go across 26 boulevards and channels. Initially, level brace spans were ear set apart for these segments of the viaduct, yet when a case of this sort of scaffold fallen under a train in Chester in May 1847 the plans were changed in the midst of security questions. Altogether, 28 cast-iron scaffold segments were required (three at Knott Mill), every one of them traversing 70ft, with the exception of the model over the

History from the Fall of Rome to Late Antiquity - Free Essay Example

History evolved from the Fall of Rome to Late Antiquity and this period of writing has changed from militaristic and political history into social and religious side of history. This style of writing is more specifically included with the readings, giving more perspective of the people in this time period. This approach to writing is more favorable because it gives more information of the time period and shows how they practice religion. In the Fall model, it leans towards the militaristic aspect of writing and it is not as specific during this time period. The texts show the methods in which they were written with the religious aspect, and is shown in Beowulf, The Life of Daniel, Synesius and others. The texts all have a common theme throughout including heros through their religion, creating a society that God had blessed upon them. Throughout the second to the ninth century, the writing styles changed in the way of militaristic to religious and it affected the contemporary texts for the period. In Synesius letters, he states he does not want to be bishop because he is afraid he will let the people down because he was a common man. But God has imposed upon me not what I desire but what He wished, (Synesius, Letter 96, in Reader for HIS 319, p. 14). This shows the importance religious figures in their societies. They ran the government, as you cannot be in power without having a religious belief in the era. In Beowulf, it was a similar aspect because he was a religious figure but very powerful ruler and warrior. Sent by God to comfort the people, to keep them from fear (Beowulf, in Reader for HIS 319, p. 40). This was clear of the time, and the Fall of Rome successors writing style strayed into the Late Antiquity style of writing. The writings in the texts states the societal and religious aspects of life, and follows the model of Late Antiquity. However, in this time, Synesius is religious and lives in a Christian society, while in power, still states his disbelief in the main aspect of the Christianity faith. He does not believe in the resurrection, and makes it clear he will not preach views he does not agree with to his people. This resurrection, which is an object of common belief, is nothing for me but a sacred and mysterious allegory, and I am far from sharing the views of the vulgar crowd thereon, (Synesius, Letter 105, in Reader for HIS 319, p. 15). He does not want to lie to them but the people still want him in power regardless of his disbelief in the resurrection. I will endure lawsuits and quarrels, so long as I can fulfill this mission, heavy though it be, according to Gods will; but never will I consent to conceal my beliefs, nor shall my opinions be at war with my tongue (Synesius, Letter 105, in Reader for HIS 319, p. 16). This considering, shows how the religious aspect is the main point in the texts. It does not elaborate much on the militaristic side of society, rather how important religion was to them. The texts all have a common thread throughout; whether it be one religion or another, they all practice their societys specific beliefs. Despite their guilt as Christians, and the ruthless punishment it deserved, the victims were pitied. For it was felt that they were being sacrificed to one mans brutality rather than to the national interest, (Tacitus, in Reader for HIS 319, p. 9). Christians are getting murdered for their beliefs but their stuck by them, because they really believed in their faith. Times changed from hating Christians, making them convert and admit their wrongdoings as well and admitting their God is not real, then easing into society to finally becoming in positions of power. Change is inevitable, but can be an amazing thing for all people, standing up for what they believe what is right. In The Life of Daniel, it dives into the era when Christians are finally being accepted in the community, and giving a voice in their government after years of discrimination. Daniel in particular, does not go to church daily, but rather lives his life on a pillar for 33 years until his death, only worshiping God day in and day out. After a year has been fulfilled and the young man by the grace of God was making progress towards the good way of life the holy man sent for him father and gave the son the holy robe, (The Life of Daniel the Stylite, 34, in Reader for HIS 319, p. 66). Daniel was not like anything else in his time nor others and it showed through the texts. Their bishops are corrupt, and people go to Daniel for advice because he is so withdrawn from society. The style in which they wrote The Life of Daniel, focused on the religion in the community, because it was so apparent in their everyday life. It affected their social life and the aspect in which this was written was reflected. In the texts, they have the common theme of complete faith in their God, knowing he sends down extraordinarily gifted people to help the community. These incredible beings, sent by God to help the people, were a common thought amongst their time. They believe if something incredible happens, it has to be God sending a message. This could have affected them in a negative way, only relying on prayer rather than facts. Then he, too, gave thanks to the Lord Who brings all things to pass according to His will, (The Life of Daniel the Stylite, 24, in Reader for HIS 319, p. 64). Daniel, living his life on a pillar for 33 years, not showering, shaving, keeping basic human hygiene maintained could be looked at as a negative aspect in the time, but he was sent by God so he can do no wrong. And the holy man sent a letter of counsel by them to the Emperor, beseeching him and saying, You yourself need no human aid; for owing your perfect faith in God you have God as your everlasting defender, (The Life of Daniel the Stylite, 61, in Reader for HIS 319, p. 68). This was a strange aspect of the time, but gives weight to the negative side of the model. Throughout the second century until the ninth century, it displays common themes of religion in their societies as a whole; in government and politics, in families, and everyday life. Every person in power believed in at least one specific religion, creating a society who all followed the same religion. Earlier on, when people died for their Christianity, it showed the Pagans they truly believed in something special, of they were willing to die for it. I have asked them in person if they are Christians, if they admit it, I repeat the question a second time, and a third time, with a warning of punishment awaiting them. If they persist, I order them to be led away for punishment (Early Roman Attitudes Toward Christians, Tacitus, in Reader for HIS 319, p. 9). Later on, when more and more people started believing in Christianity, it blossomed into what it is today, as well as all of the other forms of Christianity that has sprouted from it. The writing of this has emphasized continu ity, by staying consistent with the style of writing through the centuries. The writing of Late Antiquity solves the problems from the Fall of Rome, by giving more insight to the everyday life of the people and how they lived in a society and practiced religion, but it also has it downfalls. While it focuses on religion, the main aspect of the text is specifically religion; it does not stray and it can be fustraughting for the reader. Keeping the conversation more about the people and less of the militaristic side of society, and excluding religion is impossible, because it was so deep with society. Overall, the writing styles have changed drastically over time, and has become more relevant to todays world. In the texts, it is stated using updated methods of writing, using Late Antiquity. The differences have changed drastically, coming with some successes and downfalls.

Animal Farm Essay Example For Students

Animal Farm Essay Animal FarmGeorge Orwells novel, Animal Farm, is a deceitfully simple story abouta group of farm animals who, tired of toiling for the benefit of humans, rebeland create their own way of life only to find themselves, several years later, toiling for the benefit of one of their own kind, the pigs. Because of thesimplicity of this novel, many people consider it to be a childrens story. However, beyond its lighthearted surface, it is truly a satirical attackagainst Stalinism. It is also a lament for the fate of revolutions and thehopes contained in them. Adding to the complexity of the book, it also showsmans willingness to compromise the truth. In the short scope of this novel,Orwell expresses many of his ideas about men and politics. Major, an elderly pig, is the one who plants the seed of rebellion inthe minds of the other animals by sharing with them a song which he had learnedas a young pig, but which he has just recalled during a dream. This songBeasts of England describes a peaceful life where all animals will live inharmony, no longer enslaved by humans. Riches more than mind can picture,Wheat and barley, oats and hay,Clover, beans and mangel-wurzelsShall be ours upon that day. Bright will shine the fields of England,Purer shall its waters be,Sweeter yet shall blow its breezesOn the day that sets us free. (pp. 7-8)The character of Major symbolizes the Soviet Union leader, Vladimir Ilich Lennin. Lennin too had caused his comrades to rise up in rebellion against the Czaristform of government in the hope of creating a country where everyone would beequal. Before he saw his ideas fully enacted, he died. After the death of Major, the power is left in the hands of two otherpigs, Snowball and Napoleon. Napoleon, who, without anyone else discovering, had raised a litter of puppies into fierce dogs, now uses them to chase Snowballoff the farm. This shares many similarities with the way a leader came intopower to succeed Lennin. Lennins choice was Leon Trotsky, but Stalin, who isrepresented by Napoleon, uses tactful maneuvers to work his way into governmentand establish a totalitarian system. As the only leader, Napoleon quickly begins to abuse his power. Usinghis superior intelligence, he soon has the other animals doing all the farm workwhile he and the other pigs take on the roles of supervisors. The attitudes ofthe animals, especially Boxer, with his motto, Napoleon is always right, arerepresentative of the way people in a totalitarian state blindly follow theirleader. One of the most important reasons for this blind faith is fear. Napoleon creates this fear through the use of his dogs, who make sure there isno opposition to his rule. Fear alone, though, does not keep the animals loyal;rather it is the combination of fear and the hope that their original dreamswill still come true. None of the old dreams had been abandoned. The Republic of the Animals which Major hadforetold, when the green fields of Englandshould be untrodden by human feet, was stillbelieved in. (p. 85)This is the general feeling of the animals and keeps them working hard to reachtheir goals. Over time, we see the pigs becoming more and more like humans. First wesee them sleeping in beds, then drinking alcohol, and finally walking on twolegs. Everyone of these things is strictly prohibited in the sevencommandments; however, Napoleon has bent the rules to help himself, so when theother animals check the rules, they have miraculously changed. This is a traitinherent in most of mankind they seem only to follow the truth when the truthsuits them. If it does not, they change it to meet their needs. .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5 , .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5 .postImageUrl , .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5 , .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5:hover , .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5:visited , .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5:active { border:0!important; } .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5:active , .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5 .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u19c97683c70f7c3289dac87829c96bb5:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Is Cyclothymia a Disorder EssayWhat begins as a wonderful dream where animals would control their ownlives, free of human control, ends with the animals under the control of an evenmore oppressive ruler. Hence, job experience adds value to the curriculum vitae of the student for the benefit of high value job opportunities that may arise in the future. SWOT analysis Strengths There are various sources of strength to a candidate, who is fresh from college, when applying for job vacancies and opportunities in the job market. A fresh candidate has the necessary knowledge and skills for the job that he or she applies for a vacancy or an offer. I t takes at least four years period of comprehensive studying in universities for a student to graduate and qualify to apply for a job opportunity. Four years is quite a long time for training and thus enough to instill the necessary skills in the minds of the student that are necessary for the nature of the jobs that are related or associated with the course of training. Therefore, a fresh candidate from college is most suitable for a job vacancy for he or she has the right knowledge and skills for the job. Secondly, a fresh candidate from university has keenness and desire to learn as additional advantages to his or her strengths. Fresh candidates from tertiary institutions have higher discipline than those who finished colleges and universities a long time ago. Main reason behind this characteristic is the fear and anxiety of the environment outside colleges and universities. In other words, in the minds of a student, real world is harder than world enclosed by education and acade mic activities, and thus are ready to adhere to the rules of the employer as an escape route from the troubles of the real world. Such discipline is highly required by the employers for a disciplined candidate makes a highly promising employee, who deserves the employer’s trust. Graduate trainees greatest strength is highly associated to naivety and fear of the consequences of the real world.Advertising Looking for essay on education? Let's see if we can help you! Consequently, they are ready and willing to work for the money, and hence have a low bargaining power for high payments as compared to those who have stayed quite a while after graduating from tertiary institutions of learning. Thirdly, the nature of fresh graduate’s physique also contributes g reatly to the strengths of fresh graduates in the job markets. Most of the fresh graduates are younger and physically stronger than their counterparts, with whom they seek for job opportunities. Hence, they stand higher chances of being employed into the jobs that are physically involving than their counterparts as they are willing to cope with a job that is physically challenging. Fourthly, fresh graduates are suitable for jobs that demand extensive readings and research for their minds are used to readings and understanding the concepts. Hence, they stand higher chances of acquiring employment opportunities into the research and development teams for they can perform visibility analysis of situations and events and above all base their analysis on literature reviews and reliable readings. In addition, young graduates can work for long hours without fatigue unlike the old aged candidates and thus more desirable to the employers. Weaknesses The greatest weakness for fresh graduates is the stiff competition that has been available in today’s jobs markets. Many candidates opt to further their studies by enrolling for masters’ degrees, doctorate degrees and other certificate courses in order to increase knowledge of expertise and chances of acquiring job opportunities. Fresh graduates lack other knowledge backgrounds to back their resumes with, and hence appearing inferior in the job markets as compared to their counterparts.Advertising We will write a custom essay sample on Personal Marketing Plan specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Education system seems to have adopted a new route in today’s world. A few decades ago, people used to enroll into the institutions of learning for the sake of acquiring knowledge and hence the intelligence of a person. In addition, there was no stiff competition amongst the learned fellows for everybody enjoyed utilizing his or her knowledge into an area of expe rtise, and their employers awarded promotions based on merit in an employee’s contribution in a workplace. However, things seemed to have taken a new course of action in today’s world. Education is no longer only a source of knowledge and wisdom to majority individuals, but also a source of employment benefits such as promotions and increases in salaries. This scenario has created an abnormal course of action whereby majority are enrolling for degree courses as means to increase their chances for promotions and increasing salaries in their work places. Hence, they have caused college conspiracies as education facilities hawk courses in trying to increase the number of students for financial benefits, but not for the delivery of quality services. Consequently, college degrees have lost value and some employers have opted to ask for masters’ degrees as minimum requirements as opposed to the trend in the past few decades whereby degrees were highly valued for appli cations of job opportunities. Secondly, fresh graduates lack of experience that is highly needed by employers in many employment opportunities that arise. Employers demand highly skilled candidates for some job opportunities, which put off fresh graduates from applying.Advertising Looking for essay on education? Let's see if we can help you! Get your first paper with 15% OFF Learn More Fresh graduates feel humiliated by such trend, but it serves well to employers who get highly skilled labor as they desire. Tertiary education lacks to provide enough expertise to the students hence locking them out of contesting for job opportunities that demand highly experienced personnel. The third weakness for fresh graduates is the lack of money or capital. It is always a desire of many students to start their own businesses once they get out of colleges, but armed with ideas, they cannot implement their ideas due to lack of money. Hence, they lack the ability to offer job opportunities unless they seek for employment opportunities first in order to acquire the amount of money needed to start their own enterprises. The fourth weakness is the naivety to bargain for better employment conditions as their counterparts. Fresh graduates are more naà ¯ve than old graduates are, and that results to their employers taking advantage of their situations. Hence, they end up working for l ow pays and their employers often overwork them due to their ability to work for long hours without questioning the treatment they get from their employers. Opportunities There are always new job opportunities that require fresh graduates that serve as opportunities in the graduates SWOT analysis schedule. The ultimate goal of every new fresh graduate is to acquire a job amongst many job opportunities that are always available and start planning for the life ahead from what he or she gets from that job. However, the candidate chooses the best suitable job opportunity from the list of available job opportunities that employers have advertised. Fresh graduates have the necessary knowledge and skills for various job opportunities that fall under areas of their expertise. Hence, they can perform better than old aged graduates can if given the opportunity to work by employers. Knowledge and skills are the key components of all necessary opportunities that an employee needs to have for hi s or her suitability in a job opportunity. Threats The greatest threat to a fresh graduate seeking for a job opportunity is the competition in the job market. This competition has resulted from large population of highly trained individuals in the society. In contrast, there are a few job opportunities available for fresh graduates, and such an element poses a threat to the chances of a fresh graduate getting a job opportunity. In addition, majority of the trained individuals lacking job opportunities are more educated and experienced than the fresh graduate is, and thus diminishes his or her chance of acquiring an employment opportunity. The second greatest threat to a fresh graduate in seeking for a job opportunity is the lack of experience that majority employers demand from candidates. Experience results from exposure to working environments where candidates acquire exposures o working conditions and environments. Hence, fresh graduates find themselves locked out of applying for job opportunities whose employers call for experiences. Mission statement The personal marketing plan needs to have a strong mission statement that is capable of motivating an individual and at the same time serve as a marketing creativity tool for pleasing the future employers. My mission statement as a fresh graduate reads: To uphold the company’s rules and policies as stipulated in the company’s rules and regulations statements, and offering my contribution to the best of my ability with accordance to rightful judgments. In addition, marketing the company to the outside world by ensuring there is an adhering of quality production of goods and services under my watch for the sake of maximizing the shareholders wealth and creating a good reputation of the business to the outside world. Objectives First Objective In a bid to contribute to my level best to the company’s affairs and especially in the area of my assignment with a clear goal of ensuring that compan y’s growth and development gears well towards the realization of its vision by conforming to the clearly stated mission statement of the company. Second objective I will conduct myself by upholding honesty and diligence to create a good environment for working under minimal or no supervision as required by the international industrial relations in the labor rules and regulations. In addition, I will follow the stipulated communication channels in the company’s policies in airing my grievances and advise my fellow colleagues upon realizing their ignorance on the same. Third objective I will respect and honor the public in the company’s matters that involve the public and ensure that my behaviors and attitudes towards them add value to the corporate social responsibilities. I will not report anything concerning the company to the media unless advised to do so my public relations manager or the public relations department or relevant authorities. In addition, if re quired to make a public communication, I will protect the name of the company regardless of the nature of internal business environment guided by the heart of ensuing that the external environment is protected for the benefit of retaining the market size. Target markets As a fresh graduate, I will experience some challenges in identifying the best areas that I ought to do personal marketing for my career. However, guided by my heart desires, I will market myself to areas where my training and skills are relevant and highly used in order to attain a competitive advantage over other applicants whose training and skills are less relevant to the areas that they often apply for jobs. According to my strengths, I am best suited in areas that I have learned and acquired knowledge about in my training at tertiary institutions, and I stand high chances of outdoing my close competitors due to confidence in practicing and exercising the skills I possess. Hence, I should have confidence in tryi ng to apply for job opportunities in areas that I am sure of delivering quality services as required by my employer. The most common industries that I can work in include consumer goods package industries and manufacturing industries. My main target is Procter and Gamble Company for it is a competitive consumer package company and was recently rated as the largest in the industry in terms of profitability. The company pays its employees well and awards them opportunities for advancing their training depending on the employee’s contribution. I desire to work at Procter and Gamble Company and wish to get an opportunity to work there, and promise myself to give my best to the growth and development of the company. Marketing Mix Market mix is an important element for applying for job opportunities as a fresh graduate. I will look into four basic elements of the marketing mix, which include the product, price, and promotions. The product, viz. a degree in industrial chemistry, is my basic product that I need to market in the job market. Degree, being an academic qualification, eases the hustle of getting job opportunities after which a fresh employee undergoes training that is in most cases very different from the knowledge acquired from a tertiary institution. Personally, I take my academic qualifications as a key to the industrial job opportunities for being the only product that can sell my knowledge and skills to potential employers. However, it is prone to growth upon my enrolment into university for master’s degree in the near future. This aspect implies that I have plans of advancing my knowledge and skills through further learning in order to acquire a competitive advantage in the industry as well as acquiring a position that I could easily bargain for high salary payments. Secondly, a product has a specific price tag once launched to the market. Therefore, I value my academic qualifications by setting up the minimum salary that I can accept f rom the potential employers. In order to come up with the lowest salary figure that I can accept, I applied the following pricing mechanism. I took the number of years that I have been studying and found them to be nineteen, I calculated the minimum amount of money paid as fees in my university education and found it to be nearly $100,000. In addition, I looked into the minimum wage that a fresh graduate receives in my career field and found it to be $9,000. Hypothetically, I assumed there has been inflation and rated my minimum wage as $9,500 so that by the end of twelve months, I shall have earned more than the amount of money paid for my entire university education. Thirdly, I looked into the place for marketing my knowledge and skills using the degree certificate as the supporting document. I realized that the majority of job adverts in the dailies and advertisements demand experience of not less than five years, which I do not have, but needs am in dire need of a job opportunit y. I decided not to rely on the advertised job opportunities and opted to walk into the human resource offices in specific companies that I would wish to work for and sell my knowledge and skills. I consider it as a bold step that a few fresh graduates opt or even think of taking. This idea of moving into the human resource offices of specific companies, I believe it works. Historically, it worked to one courageous man who walked into Thomas Edison’s office, inventor of light bulb, with a clear goal of becoming his associate and cared less about the nature of job that he could get at initial stages. Fortunately, an opportunity presented itself and the man became an associate to Thomas Edison. That story motivates me for I feel that the same could happen to me if I walked into those offices and present my case before potential employers. Fourthly, I look into ways of carrying out product promotions to my knowledge and skills. Product promotion is a crucial marketing strategy t hat enables the producer to get immediate feedback from the targeted customers. I intended to carryout my personal knowledge and skills in uniquely manner, which would grant me a higher competitive advantage over other job seekers that are available in the society. I intended to walk into human resources offices and I belief I shall leave the office with clear information about whether I stand a chance of getting a job or not and the type of skills that companies need most. Secondly, I also intended to get into social works such as environmental management and create a network with sponsors of such activities who may end up hiring me into their companies. I believe there is no way through which any of the above two ways of product promotion could fail to push me into a job regardless of whether it is in line with my career field. Implementation Implementation is the last step of my personal marketing plan, and the most important for my career objectives. After developing the strateg ies through which I intended to market my knowledge and skills, I have already prepared a timeline with which I shall work with in ensuring that I realize my dream of acquiring a job opportunity. According to my timeline, I shall begin my registering with a social community group that deals with environmental conservation and campaigning against environmental degradation and participate in social works. At the same time, I shall be carrying out the second plan of walking into human resource offices of specific companies.
